What is Family Fest?
Family Fest is a way to provide Jacksonville families with
a fun, affordable celebration of literacy in the outdoors. This event will bring
to life storytelling, music, arts and crafts in a natural setting.
Vision
Jacksonville families engaging in an affordable, meaningful
event combining storytelling, music and nature that encourages literacy development
and supports the Child Development Research Center and Nature Trails located
at the University of North Florida.
Suggested Donation: $5 per adult, $3 per child, or $10 per family
Mission
Family Fest strives to combine the efforts of the Child
Development Research Center staff, Nature Trail staff and the University of
North Florida faculty and students to reach out to the Jacksonville community
to support literacy development.
