Career Services at
the University of North Florida is a comprehensive
career development center that is committed to helping
students develop the necessary skills to effectively
identify and implement their career goals.
Career Services is more than a quality resource
or information center. We offer a number of career
programs to help students determine their academic
major and career path, host a variety of workshops
and panel discussions within each college to address
specific needs regarding career fields and provide
an open forum for dialogue with local professionals.
Skills development through the STAR Program is also
a major priority for Career Services in order to
empower students with the essential career planning
and job search skills needed to prepare them for
future interviews and job placement. We continually

and students in order to establish a network or partnership
that facilitates success for all involved and especially
professional and personal achievement for our students.

Naming Opportunities

by students and employers for interview meetings
as well as faculty, staff, and students for educational

Career Services Library. The Career Library is at the heart of our career development
unit. It serves as a resource for students to come and
explore career options, spend time on computers researching
fields or various industries, get a walk-in resume critique
and advice, schedule an appointment with a career counselor
to evaluate and discuss their future goals and skills,
and basically access a wide range of information about
career and employment opportunities.
Your support as a sponsor of the Career Library
would enable Career Services to specifically remain
up-to-date on the latest information and technology
regarding careers such as books, periodicals, directories,
computer-assisted guidance programs, computers and
software for the computer lab, and other needed materials.
All sponsors would be recognized on a special TV display
in the Career Library.

The Career Services website is one of the first places
that students, employers, and the local community go
to find out about Career Services as well as take advantage
of the variety of online career resources available.
Thousands of students, alumni, employers, faculty,
and others access the site on a daily basis. Website
sponsorship is for any company looking for an online
advertising opportunity with significant visibility.

Peer Advisor Sponsorship Sponsorship
of a Student Career Peer Advisor truly is an “investment in our future” and
specifically in the life of a UNF student. Each
year, Career Services hires and trains a select number
of students to be Career Peer Advisors providing one-on-one
career assistance for hundreds of UNF students and
alumni seeking advice and help with their career plans
and job search campaigns.
Our Career Peer Advisors serve as a guide setting
an example for other students. They critique cover
letters and resumes, provide advice about interviewing
and job hunting, and help students find career information
through the Career Library and Career Services website.
They also assist students by helping them identify
and pursue a number of employment opportunities through
Career Wings, our online job recruitment portal.
As a sponsor, your contribution will help finance
the salary of a Career Peer Advisor. A
gift of $5,000 is enough to sponsor one Career Peer
Advisor for one full Academic Year (August-May). In return for your
generosity:

The EDGE Sponsorship
The EDGE publications is our premier student job search
handbook and guide for all things career-related.
This annual publication is distributed to thousands
of UNF students and alumni free of charge. It provides
and array of information about essential career topics
such as resume and cover letter writing, job interviewing,
professional etiquette, and on-campus recruiting.
Gone are the days of paper handouts. The EDGE is
a full-color, high-quality magazine that is a valuable
resource for students. It is also accessible through

Title Sponsorship- $8,000. This sponsor opportunity
is limited to only one company. Benefits include your
