What Can You Do With A Major In.....

PSYCHOLOGY Psychology is the study of human as well as animal behavior. It is the study and understanding of normal and abnormal behavior, mental ability, perception, developmental, and individual differences. Psychology allows one to acquire skills in research, information gathering, and analytical thinking. Psychology involves many areas of specialization, which may include behavioral neuroscience, cognitive, clinical, educational, social, developmental, and organizational psychology.

Beginning Salary Range: For more information on salaries click here According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Spring 2008 Salary Survey, beggining salaries for graduates with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology start at about $35,000 a year. With a Master's degree an average salary starts at about $35,000. With a Doctoral degree an average salary starts at $73,000.
