POLITICAL SCIENCE is the study of the government and its systems, organizations, and processes at different levels and cultures. People in this field study the actions of the government, political parties, and revolutionary events, as well as the public's opinions and the decision-making processes involving politics. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Spring 2007 Salary Survey, beginning salaries for graduates with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, start at about $32,600 a year.
