What Can You Do With A Major In....
PHYSICS explores and recognizes the basic principles of matter, energy, and the interaction between them.  Many apply this knowledge to the development of advanced material, electronic and optical devices, and medical equipment.  Physicists' experimentations use a variety of equipment including lasers, cyclotrons, telescopes, and mass spectrometers.  Physics research concentrates on discovering laws, describing forces of nature, and applying physical laws and theories to problems, which leads to the development of new ideas, products and processes.
