ENGLISH is the study of ideas, cultures, mores, and concepts throughout time. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Spring 2007 Salary Survey, beginning salaries for graduates with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English starts at about $32,000. Average starting salary with a Doctoral degree is about $48,000.

The Department of English and Foreign Languages at the University of North Florida offers a Bachelor of Arts in English and English-Drama track. The Master of Arts in English offers two tracks in Literature and Creative Writing.
