According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Spring 2008 Salary Survey, beginning salaries for graduates with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English starts at about $33,316. Master's Degree: $33,000 and Average starting salary with a Doctoral degree is about $60,000.
