This Career Fair typically hosts approximately 30-50 different companies for white and blue collar employment opportunities (ranging from warehouse, trucking, and port operations to logistics, marketing, information technology, human resources, marine engineering and more). It is hosted by UNF Career Services in partnership with the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT), an international trade seaport in Northeast Florida. Companies doing business at JAXPORT employ more than 7,000 workers and support an additional 38,000 jobs in Jacksonville. JAXPORTJOBS.COM is also a one-stop, free, online resource for job seekers to discover new types of jobs and maritime companies in Northeast Florida find potential employees.
