Marcelle Polednik, director for MOCA, a cultural resource of UNF, leads the museum to a new beginning.
"UNF On The Record," a production of the Department of Public Relations, is a weekly radio show featuring campus life as well as faculty and student research. This week's show features Dr. Quincy Gibson, UNF visiting research scientist in marine mammal biology. She discusses her systematic study of the distribution, abundance and behavior of dolphins that inhabit the St. Johns River.
Some parents have a petition in place asking lawmakers to rework the current Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Dr. Christine Weber, UNF associate professor of Childhood Education, understands why parents are concerned. Every winter, she is part of team that hosts an 18-hour writing camp to tutor students for the exam.
