The holidays are coming early for some Jacksonville children with disabilities. They’re getting special vehicles and toys modified just for them. UNF students adapted the toys as part of a class that meshes engineering and physical therapy. WJCT Public Radio talks to the students involved in the project.
Dr. JeffriAnne Wilder, UNF associate professor of sociology, discusses racisim, sexism and other interlocking oppressions that can create an "outsider-within" status for many black women in higher education as part of the TEDx Jacksonville talks.
Dr. Andrea Arikawa, UNF assistant professor of nutrition professor, provides some healthy snack alternatives to share during your holiday parties on "First Coast Living."
