icon Instructor Navigating the Waters of Sexual Misconduct & Violence on University Campuses: Title IX, Related Laws and University Expectations
Register

As a recipient of federal funds, UNF must comply with Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972, along with other laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities. This includes all forms of sexual misconduct such as bullying, hazing, and other forms of gender-based indiscretions of a sexual nature. Because of its commitment, UNF offers this awareness session to provide insight and knowledge-based direction in support of this federal mandate. Attendees will learn about the what, who and why of Title IX; examine the relationship of Title IX to non-discrimination and related laws; learn steps in the reporting process; discover important resources; and understand the rights of individuals and potential roles under Title IX.

Audience: A&P, Faculty, USPS, OPS, Student OPS
