USPA Election Process
April 9-20
- Voting process will be published for membership information.
- Call out for nominations for president, vice president and secretary/treasurer shall be disseminated by both e-mail and hard copy (hard copy for those without e-mail capability).
Nominations will be accepted for 2 weeks.
- Nominees must accept a nomination in order to be included on the ballot.
- Any member may nominate themselves.
- Write-in candidates will be accepted on the ballot on the day of election.
April 21-May 11
- Bios should be completed by each nominee, however, they are not mandatory.
- Bios will include name, department, years at UNF, platform, personal/professional accomplishments and a photo.
May 14
- All submitted bios go out to the membership for consideration.
May 18
- A sample of the ballot will go out to the membership.
May 21 - ELECTION DAY
- Elections will be held during the Spring General Assembly.
- Voting will occur during the first half of the meeting. An impartial party will be in attendance to verify election results.
- One vote per member present will be counted.
- There will be no absentee/proxy ballot.
May 23
- USPA membership will be notified of the voting results.
July 1
- New USPA officers will take office.
