UNF Hispanic Council

Mission Statement 

The UNF Hispanic Council is established to promote Hispanic culture within the University community and to foster a greater understanding of and appreciation for Hispanic customs and traditions. In so doing, the Council seeks to further the University's commitment to diversity as well as interracial and multi-cultural understanding.

Purpose Statement 

The purpose of the Council is:

  1. To assist UNF Hispanic students through mentorship;
  2. To promote and sponsor educational programs and Hispanic cultural activities on campus;
  3. To promote available scholarships to the Hispanic student body;
  4. To provide a vehicle for networking and sharing among UNF Hispanic faculty, staff and students.

Invitation for Membership

The UNF Hispanic Council was established in January, 2001 to promote Hispanic culture within the University community and to foster a greater understanding of and appreciation for Hispanic customs and traditions. Membership is open to all UNF faculty and staff members.
