The mission of the African American Faculty and Staff Association is to develop a supportive network for UNF employees of African descent, provide services that meet their needs, and promote cultural, educational, fundraising and civic activities in alignment with the academic mission of the University. 4th Quarter General Assembly meeting - December 5 at 11:30 a.m.
You are cordially invited to attend the 4th quarter general assembly meeting of the African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA). This is a very special meeting because UNF students will be invited to attend this meeting to get to know the AAFSA members. During the meeting, AAFSA will announce its inaugural AAFSA scholarhip recipients. On behalf of our University President, our special guest, Dr. Earle Traynham, Interim Provost, will present the AAFSA scholarships to our UNF students.
Come learn about AAFSA's goals, activities, newly elected officers and accomplishments. All UNF employees are welcome to attend. Please bring a friend. Confirm your attendance here. Lunch is provided!
AAFSA is still accepting nominations for the following positions: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Campus & Community Outreach Chairperson, Finance Chairperson, Membership Chairperson, and Social Action& Welfare Chairperson.

25th Zora! Festival - February 1
Join the Durkeeville Historical Society for a day-long bus trip to the Eatonville Zora Festival. It will be a fun trip, and only $45. Reservations and payment must be received by January 1. Please see the link for more event details.
