Mr. Thomas F. Petway, III
founder Zurich Insurance Services, Inc.
Distinguished Business Leader
Jacksonville native Tom Petway is a committed civic and business leader at the local,
state and national level. He founded Zurich Insurance Services, Inc. and is a partner in
the Jacksonville Jaguars LTD NFL franchise and Prudential Network Realty. Petway's
key accomplishments include his service as co-chairman of the Jacksonville Super Bowl
Host Committee (Super Bowl XXXIX), being named Florida Finance Co-Chairman for
Bush-Cheney '04 and chairing the 30th Annual Joint Meeting of Southeast U.S./Japan &
Japan/U.S. Southeast Associations in 2007. Numerous organizations enhancing community
development, youth, healthcare, educational, religious and cultural causes benefit from his
leadership and support. |

Distinguished Business Leader
Ceree Harden, CEO of Harden & Associates, grew a small Northside insurance agency
into the region's largest provider of insurance, employee benefits and financial services.
A Jacksonville native and tireless community leader, Ceree is committed to shaping the
future of Jacksonville. He has led local economic development organizations and sits on
numerous boards, including FPIC Insurance Group and Baptist Health System. |

Jeffrey W. Steagall, Ph.D.
Coggin College of Business - Professor of Economics
Distinguished Professor
Dr. Jeff Steagall arrived at UNF in 1990. He is a Professor of Economics and holds the
Kip Professorship in International Business. He has won multiple awards for outstanding
teaching, has published regularly in American and international journals, and was recently
awarded an Outstanding Service award at UNF. He is best-known for creating and growing
the international business program, which was awarded UNF flagship status in 2006 and
for which he has arranged over two dozen international partnerships. He has been active in
internationalizing the university and Jacksonville, having worked with the city, Chamber,
Enterprise Florida and other organizations. |
