Coggin College of Business Scholarships

Scholarships directed to a particular student from an outside agency are considered custodial scholarships. They are not processed as a UNF Foundation gift. They are to be directly sent to Enrollment Services Processing. They are responsible for posting the award directly to the student’s account. Please follow individual application guidelines. Custodial Scholarships

Scholarship Eligibility Deadline
NFFRFA Doug Milne Scholarship

 A. Be pursuant of a degree in one of the following categories: Food Related Industry

NUTRITION - MARKETING -  BUSINESS (All Majors In The Coggin College of Business)  - Public Relations.
B. Be entering their junior year of college. (Graduates will also be considered).
C. Have a 2.50 GPA average.
D. Perform a minimum of 12 hours on community events sponsored by the NFFRFA over one year.
E. Not have immediate family involved in the North Florida Frozen and Refrigerated Food Association.
F. Furnish a statement of financial need indicating income and expenses.
G. Supply a list of all Scholarships, Loans and Grants (provide names and amounts of each)
H. List community service activities
I. Be of good moral character.
J. Agree to a pre-approval personal and confidential interview by an NFFRFA screening committee.
K. Students must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours for undergraduates and 6 credit hours for graduates)

2015 Terry L. Priest Scholarship

Applicants must:

-Be enrolled in an undergraduate transportation, logistics, or supply chain program at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States (full-time or part-time, seniors are eligible to apply for spring semester only);
-Have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher;
-Plan to pursue a career in the transportation, logistics or supply chain field; and
-Have financial need.

Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

$1,000 will be awarded to a Northeast Florida student and the application will then be sent to WTS International where the student will then be eligible to compete to win a $5,000 scholarship.

 

The general scholarship criteria include:
• Open to women
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Northeast Florida in a transportation-related field such as engineering, planning, finance or logistics
• Plan to pursue a career in transportation

Molitoris Leadership Scholarship for Undergraduates

$1,000 will be awarded to a Northeast Florida student and the application will then be sent to WTS International where the student will then be eligible to compete to win a $5,000 scholarship.

• Open to women
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Northeast Florida in a transportation-related field such as engineering, planning, finance or logistics
• Plan to pursue a career in transportation

Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship

The WTS Northeast Florida Chapter will nominate a local undergraduate level student for this scholarship and that student's application will then be sent to WTS International where the student will then be eligible to compete to wil a $10,000 scholarship.

 

The general scholarship criteria include:

 

  • Open to women
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Northeast Florida in a transportation-related field such as engineering, planning, finance or logistics
  • Plan to pursue a career in transportation

The WTS Beverly Swaim Staley Leadership Legacy Scholarship

The WTS Northeast Florida Chapter will nominate a local graduate level student for this scholarship and that student's application will then be sent to WTS International where the student will then be eligible to compete to win a $5,000 scholarship.

 

General scholarship criteria include: 

 

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Northeast Florida* in a transportation-related field, such as transportation planning or engineering, security planning, business management, finance, or logistics with a focus on public policy.
  • Plans to pursue a career in a transportation-related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in addressing transportation studies issue(s).
  • Submission of a personal statement of 1,000 words or less highlighting candidate's interest in transportation or a related field, relevant experiences and interests, and how this award will contribute to the candidate's ability to make a meaningful contribution in the transportation arena.
  • Open to women.
