In 2006, President John Delaney announced that the Coggin College
of Business had been awarded two flagship programs for the university:
the Transportation & Logistics Program and the International
Business Program.
Why were they singled out? Because each of the programs has the potential
to draw talented students from around the world, tackle cutting-edge
research projects and help solve problems facing today’s businesses.
This recognition of excellence will allow these business programs
to grow and expand. A total of $1.25 million dollars annually has
been set aside for these programs and other flagship programs.
International Business

The International Business Program
prepares students for the international business environment
of the future. The international perspective infuses the entire
curriculum, and student learning is enhanced through study
abroad and intensive language programs. The award-winning GlobalMBA
program offers the unique opportunity for graduate students
to study internationally at partner institutions and earn multiple
master's degrees.

The UNF Transportation & Logistics Program
ranked 13th in the nation according to Supply Chain Management
Review. Moving beyond traditional classroom teaching,
the program provides tours of logistics facilities, manufacturing
plants, and port operations. A state of the art LITSLAB (Logistics
and Information Technology Laboratory) currently under development
will expose students to software and technology used by major
logistics firms. The active student organization, Transportation
and Logistics Society, also hosts an annual Career Day to connect
students with local, regional, and national emplyers recruiting
for internships and jobs.
