100% Giving on the Alumni Chapter Board
The newly elected Coggin College Alumni Chapter board members have been busy since assuming their duties in early 2007.  Under the guidance of president Anna Brosche (BBA ’93, MAcc ’95), the board has proven its dedication to the Coggin College by giving back more than volunteer service. For the first time, 100% of the board has contributed financially to the Coggin College.

"We are eager for this tradition of 100% participation to continue,” said Anna Brosche." It shows that our board members are committed to financially supporting our alma mater. We encourage our fellow alumni to get involved as well. Even the smallest donation can make a difference.”

Alumni Events to Suit Every Taste
The Coggin College Alumni Chapter Board actively hosts events to promote networking, professional development and community relations.  The talented and committed alumni board members sponsored a variety of events during Spring 2007 to accommodate everyone’s tastes -- from sporting events to socials to lecture series. 

• River City Rumble Men’s Basketball Game between UNF Ospreys and JU Dolphins on January 9.
• Spring Social at River City Brewing Co. on March 29.
• Speaker Series luncheon on April 13. Rick Ferrin, Executive Director of Jacksonville Port Authority, presented “The State of JAXPORT and Transportation & Logistics on the First Coast.”
• Thursday Night Throwdown at the Jacksonville Suns baseball game on May 10.
• Networking Breakfast held at the Coggin College on June 19.
  Mike Israel, President of ATS Executive Search, spoke about
  “The Conscious and Unconscious Career Decisions We Make.”
