Coggin College Welcomes
Two New Department Chairs

Dean John P. McAllister announced the appointment of two new department chairs: Dr. C. Bruce Kavan will head the Department of Management and Dr. Adel I. El-Ansary will lead the Department of Marketing and Logistics.

In recognition of the growth in the number of students, faculty members and disciplines, the formerly combined Department of Management, Marketing, and Logistics was officially split into two separate units during 2006. 

Dr. Gene Baker stepped down after five years of years of service as department chair: four years for the larger Department of Management, Marketing and Logistics and one year for the Department of Management.  Dr. Greg Gundlach served for one year as interim chair for the Department of Marketing and Logistics.
