Spotlight
on Student Clubs
Coggin College
is proud to announce the establishment of three new student
clubs during the last year: the Entrepreneur Society, the
International Business Society, and a collegiate chapter
of the National Association of Black Accountants.
With over
a dozen active and professional organizations to choose
among, Coggin College students are able to round out their
academic studies with professional
development activities such
as distinguished speaker events, conferences, site tours,
and social networking.
The
Entrepreneur Society, established
to compliment Coggin College's new minor in Entrepreneurship,
caters to the entrepreneurial needs of all students at
UNF. The
Entrepreneur Society connects students with Jacksonville’s
entrepreneurs and enables them to network with like-minded
individuals at national collegiate conferences.
The International Business Society seeks
to provide a students with a network to share academic,
career and study abroad information while building knowledge
about the local and international community through professional
and social activities. This organization compliments Coggin
College's International Business Flagship Program, in recognition
of the increasing need to prepare students for the international
business environment of the future.
A collegiate chapter of the the National
Association of Black Accountant was established
to address the concerns of minorities
entering the accounting profession and to make a commitment
to professional and academic excellence.
