Career Management Center Receives
Endowment from The Main Street America Group

The Coggin College of Business is pleased to announce the creation of an endowment by The Main Street America Group, a Jacksonville, FL.-based super regional property-casualty insurance carrier. This gift will benefit the Coggin College Career Management Center which offers specialized services to help students begin successful and fulfilling careers. Through proactive and individualized assistance, the center aims to provide a competitive edge to allow Coggin students and alumni to secure the best positions available.

“We hope our support helps Coggin’s students be as prepared as possible for their future careers in the business world,” said Tom Van Berkel, chairman, president and CEO of The Main Street America Group. Tom is a member of Coggin’s Business Advisory Council.

The Main Street America Group Career Management Endowment will allow the center to provide additional resources to students including unique special events, targeted training and state-of-the art web-based resources to aid students in their employment preparation and job searches. The endowment will also provide support for increased recruiting efforts and staff training which will ensure that the Career Management Center staff remains an up-to-date resource for both students and employers.  The Coggin College of Business thanks Main Street America for their investment and commends them on their commitment to investing in the future of Jacksonville and the students of the Coggin College of Business.
