Four Coggin College of Business alumni
were honored recently at the UNF Alumni Association’s
annual awards dinner.
Held annually during Homecoming, the event
features the alumni awards for each college at UNF along
with awards for Honorary Alumni and Distinguished Alumni

Alumni awards from the Coggin College.
The first of the four recipients was the

The second award was presented to Charles

A native of Jacksonville, Warren is nationally
recognized as an economic development consultant and business
advisor, and is frequently called upon by banks, community
groups and government agencies for his advice and counsel
on matters related to community reinvestment and urban economic
development. His public service experience includes posts
like Executive Director of the State of Florida’s
Black Business Investment Board in the administration of
Governor Bob Martinez, and a later appointment by Mayor
Ed Austin as Chief of Economic Development for Jacksonville.
