Study at the most modern university in Madrid! The University of Rey Juan Carlos first opened its doors in 1997 and now boasts almost 18,000 students from around the globe. The four campuses (Móstoles, Alcorcón, Vicálvaro, Fuenlabrada) are easily reached by underground, bus and train from Madrid’s center. Spanish courses for international students begin two weeks prior to the regular scheduled Spanish semester, and courses for Business Administration are taught in English. No Spanish
language background is required. |

Accommodations |

URJC has not yet built its residence halls.
Students may find accommodation in shared flats with prices ranging from 180 to 270 Euro, and a single room in a private flat with shared cooking
facilities for about 180 Euro, full board 450 Euro.
URJC may help in finding lodging, but early notice is needed concerning special conditions of each
student (sex, arrival day, length of stay, particular wishes about board, economic restrictions, etc.). This
information must be received AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, at least 3 months before arrival. |

Students are required to individually
obtain the necessary visa for study abroad prior to
departure. Most semester programs are more than 90 days.
Students should visit the U.S. Department of State webpage
which links to each country’s Embassy. Many visa
applications must be made in person. Please plan ahead! |
