| Founded in 1979, The University of Alicante (UA) is recognized as one of Spain’s most modern and innovative universities, as well as one of the most beautiful campuses in Europe. UA welcomes international students with open arms. With approximately 33,000 students, the University hosts an average of 1,000 students from around the world each year to study Spanish language, culture, and business. You may take undergraduate courses taught in Spanish in a variety of disciplines. With an additional fee, you may take undergraduate business courses taught in English. |

UA’s works with you find accommodations in Alicante. Rent for furnished communal apartments ranges from $180 - $250 per month, depending on preferences. It is common to pay a deposit of one month’s rent and a small contract fee. You can choose to live with a host family or in the residence halls on-campus. |

International Business Program (classes offered in English) |

UA’s International Business Program offers a small selection of courses taught in English, requiring no Spanish language background. These courses have an additional fee, paid directly to UA, of approximately $350 per course. Please see website for updated prices. |

obtain the necessary visa for study abroad prior to
departure. Most semester programs are more than 90 days.
Students should visit the U.S. Department of State webpage
