The SEMESTER EXCHANGE program was created to establish partnerships with several international universities. UNF students will pay for UNF tuition and fees while abroad. While abroad, students will enroll in either XCH 4000 International Exchange Program (15 undergraduate hours) or XCH 6000 International Exchange Program (12 graduate hours). (Note: Students participating in summer exchange programs will register for XCH 4000/6000 for the appropriate number of credits.

Once students return from study abroad, their foreign credit will be posted to their UNF account as TRANSFER credit. Grades will be “translated” based on the conversation scale posted on the Coggin site for each program. The grades will not affect a student’s UNF GPA, as they are not UNF courses. They will be averaged into a student’s overall GPA, the same as other college-level course work taken outside of UNF.

Students receiving financial aid are encouraged to meet with UNF’s Financial Aid office prior to departure & after grades post, as grades may affect scholarship eligibility.
