Successful firms need leaders
who think globally, move comfortably in multiple cultures,
and have the knowledge and understanding to succeed in
global markets. The unique blend of educational and residential
experiences and networking opportunities in the GlobalMBA
program equips students with these competencies.

As an expatriate manager, I know the roles that global business
knowledge and sensitivity to cultural differences play in
successful international businesses. The GlobalMBA program is
designed to provide both.

The combination of having a living-and-learning
experience in multiple countries; taking an integrated curriculum
from culturally diverse faculties; and completing courses
with multinational faculty and students delivers a powerful
and exciting balance of global business theory and practice.
GlobalMBA alumni will be very attractive candidates for positions
in multinational firms.

Despite all the talk regarding
a "global economy," the successful marketer cannot
ignore the very real level of cultural diversity within
the international markets. The European Union may well be
developing common monetary and regulatory policies, but the fact
remains that the various customers within various countries have
a quite different cultural basis from which they make business
decisions. A thorough understanding of these cultural and sociopolitical
perspectives is not just helpful, but is critical in order to
be able to develop successful business strategies.
