of North Florida (UNF)
University of North Florida is a mid-sized public university
(approximately 14,000 students) with five colleges,
one of which is the Coggin College of Business.
UNF is housed on 1,300 acres that include a nature
and wildlife area with lakes and trails. Plus,
UNF has a great location - 7miles from the beach and 12 miles from downtown Jacksonville!

Jacksonville is home to over one million people who
enjoy a delightful year-round climate, with four seasons
(without snow!). By car, Jacksonville is 2 ½ hours
from Orlando (Disney World) and 6 hours from Atlanta, Georgia.
The Kennedy Space Center and Daytona Beaches are within
easy driving distance. Jacksonville is a great location
from which to explore the southeastern part of the United
States. |

3. International
Insurance Evaluation |
| |
|

• |
All international
students are required to have international insurance
with adequate coverage. Students will be automatically
enrolled and billed for UNF insurance when they register
for classes. If they have existing insurance coverage,
meeting UNF requirements, these students should ask their
insurance company to complete the appropriate
section of this form and return it prior to arrival in
Jacksonville. If this evaluation form is not received
within two weeks of registration students will be automatically
enrolled in the UNF insurance. |

Once arriving in
Jacksonville, students can pay for their International
Insurance at UNF’s cashiers office with cash or
check. Students can pay on myWings with
a credit card. Please pick up a temporary insurance card
at the Office
of Medical
Compliance. This office can also explain the
policy and claims procedure. |

Form information is required for ALL students on UNF’s
campus. Students will not be permitted to register for
courses until they have provided official documentation
for these immunizations. |

who live on UNF’s campus. Students may provide
proof of this immunization or sign a waiver. Please read

Housing

| |
On-Campus
The University of North Florida recommends that
GlobalMBA students consider living on-campus. UNF’s Housing
Department has a comprehensive web site which describes
housing options, accommodations, prices, locations and
general information. Rent ranges from approximately $1600
- $2300 for the semester depending on accommodations. It
is common to pay an application fee ($200) and a processing
fee ($50) along with the semester rent. Students are expected
to pay the semester’s rent, application fee, and
processing fee at once when they arrive in Jacksonville.
Students who are interested in on-campus housing should submit the housing applications directly to Anne Sheridan Fugard in early February.
Off-Campus
There are a number of private off-campus apartments near the University of North Florida’s campus. If students would like to live off-campus, they are expected to make housing arrangements. |

Textbooks
& Course Materials
Each student is expected to have a copy of the required
texts for each course. At the start of the term, each professor
will determine the list of text books. Students can purchase
text books from a variety of venues, including on-line
book website, off-campus bookstores, or UNF’s
bookstore located on-campus. Each textbook may range
