Prerequisites
All GlobalMBA students, regardless of the home consortium university, must meet the following PREREQUISITES:
- Hold a bachelor's (undergraduate) degree by the time they begin the GlobalMBA
- Score at least 500 on the GMAT or 1000 on GRE
- Proficiency in English
- Have successfully completed courses in each of the following areas:
- Business Law
- Principles of Microeconomics
- Principles of Macroeconomics
- Introduction to Financial Accounting
- Introduction to Financial Management
- Principles of Marketing
- Principles of Management
Most students with undergraduate business degrees will have completed these courses. Students who have not had any of these courses can take the following four UNF courses to become eligible for the GlobalMBA:
- BUL 3130 Legal Environment of Business
- ECO 5115 Introduction to Economic Analysis
- FIN 5405 Financial Analysis
- MAN 5036 Fundamentals of Marketing and Management
Note: In order to register for any graduate level course (5000 or 6000 level) in the Coggin College of Business, students must be fully admitted as a Coggin graduate student.
Application Materials
Students applying for the GlobalMBA via UNF, must submit the following Application Materials to be considered. Please submit the appropriate materials to the correct office.
Submit below materials directly to: UNF Graduate School
- Application for Graduate or Post-baccalaureate Study (and pay the application fee)
- Official transcripts reporting college-level work
- Official GMAT score (minimum 500) or GRE (minimum 1000)
Submit directly to UNF's: GlobalMBA Program
- Copy of GlobalMBA application
- Photocopy of transcripts reporting college-level work
- Photocopy of GMAT score
- Photocopy of passport that is valid through the entire GlobalMBA program
- Professional resume
- Qualified candidates will be selected after a personal interview with UNF faculty, either by phone or in person
Review of applications will begin January 1 of each year. Applications will be accepted until the cohort is full. Historically, the cohort is selected by March 1. If selected for an interview, they will be schedule for:
- Monday, January 25, 2010
- Monday, February 22, 2010
- Friday, March 26, 2010 (limited interview spaces available)
