| Admission Criteria |
| |
| Admission to all programs with the exception
of the GlobalMBA is based upon the undergraduate grade point
average (GPA) and GMAT score. Students holding an earned doctor
of philosophy or doctor of medicine are exempt from the GMAT
requirement. |
 |
GPA: Calculated
by the UNF Office of Admissions over the final 60 semester
(90 quarter) hours of the baccalaureate degree. |
 |
Index: A minimum
1050 index must be obtained on the formula: (GPA x 200) + GMAT
total score. Note: For International Students: If a GPA cannot
be calculated, a minimum 500 on the GMAT total score is required
for graduate admission. |
 |
GMAT: In addition
to the minimum 1050 index, a minimum 500 total score, 20 verbal
and 22 quantitative GMAT sub-score is required for graduate
admission. The Analytical Writing Analysis sub-score is NOT
currently used as an admission criterion. |

| Post-Baccalaureate Status |
| |
Applicants without a successful GMAT score may be admitted
to take undergraduate foundation courses as a post-baccalaureate
student.
These are prerequisites for the advanced (6000 level) MBA courses. Please be
advised that only one of the four prerequisite courses is an undergraduate course
not requiring graduate standing. All foundation requirements must be satisfied
prior to registration in any advanced (6000 level) course. It is strongly recommended
that students without a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing,
self-elect an undergraduate course covering this material. Applicants holding
a recent business degree from an AACSB accredited institution probably have satisfied
the foundation requirements providing that all coursework was completed with
a grade of
“C” or better. To be registered in any graduate
course (5000 or 6000 level) in the Coggin College of Business
a student must be fully admitted as a graduate student. Certain
undergraduate courses may be substituted for the graduate
equivalent, but approval must be obtained in advance from
the director of the graduate program. |
