Shannon is the founding Director of the Career Management Center, which opened in May 2007. Shannon leads the total effort and outreaches to the Jacksonville business community to engage members with Coggin faculty and students in ways that ultimately lead to mutually beneficial relationships.

Scott manages employer on-campus
recruiting activity, assisting with the scheduling and set up on on-campus
interviews, employer information sessions and mock interviews. Scott also sets
up student appointments with the Career Coordinator and manages the placement
system to track Coggin student and alumni employment.
Shatara assists Larissa with
providing individualized student resumes, cover letters and professional skills
development appointments. Her primary focus includes students with accounting,
finance and financial services major. She also contributes to the coordination
and execution of student programming provided by the Center.
Rachel’s focus is on tracking
student job placements and position posting outcomes through both the Career
Wings system and communication with both students and employers. She also compiles feedback and summarizes
events held into internal reports utilized to improve future programming.
Recruiting & Events Intern
The Recruiting & Events
Intern works closely with staff to market and execute on campus
recruiting events. The Intern assists in
the Center’s daily operations by answering student and employer inquiries,
writing the student newsletter and maintaining social media accounts.
