Backpacks to Briefcases: “Career Wisdrom: How to Start Off and Stay on the Right Track”
Bldg. 42/Rm. 2108, 3pm–4:15pm
Backpacks to Briefcases is a series of workshops designed to help students transition successfully into their career. The workshops will address areas where young professionals tend to have the most transitional challenges in hopes of alerting students to potential workplace issues and providing strategies for navigating the new world of work that they will face upon graduation.
"Backpacks to Briefcases: Business Culture: What it is and How to Successfully Adapt to it" will explore the concept of the business world within your new career. This workshop introduces and relates the information you learned in the classroom and how to apply it towards your career and working atmosphere.

STAR Recognition Ceremony and Luncheon for Summer and Fall 2009 STAR Certified students
This event is invitation only and recognizes the outstanding efforts of students earning their STAR certification during the Fall 2008 semester. A recognition ceremony and complimentary lunch are provided. Guest faculty, administrators and employers are also invited so that they can meet and congratulate the new Coggin STAR students. Invitations will be sent to qualified students by your Career Management Center team. STAR credit is monitored by the Career Management Center and entered into your Career Wings account so that you can keep track of your STAR progress.
