The major in financial services is designed for the student who is interested in a career in the dynamic financial services sector which includes personal financial planning, banking, insurance, and related areas.

The financial planning track integrates finance, accounting, employee benefits, and insurance. The objective is to prepare the student for careers in the growing fields of financial services and financial planning. This track also emphasizes communication skills. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the examinations leading to professional designation such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP)© and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
