Degree Evaluation: Your guide to degree completion

    Prerequisites Courses

These courses are marked, based upon a transcript review, with either “PREVIOUS DEGREE” if fulfilled by your previous degree or it will be left blank if you need the class. If you must take any of the prerequisites courses, they must be completed before registering for advanced courses (6000 level). The only exception is if you lack one prerequisite course, you may register for certain courses in the Group 1 area at the same time.

    * If your advisor has indicated that you must take prerequisites courses, you will not graduate unless they are completed.

    MBA Critical Path

These courses must be completed in the sequence indicated. Concurrent registration of a course and its prerequisite is not allowed.

    1. All prerequisites courses must be taken before beginning courses.
    2. Take all classes in Group 1 in any combination (beginning elective requirements)
    3. Take all classes in Group 2 in any combination (continue elective requirements)
    4. Take classes in Group 3 (must be finished with elective requirements at this point).

Elective courses are not offered every semester and are rarely offered in the summer semester. Because of this, it is highly recommended that you take elective or concentration courses as soon as they become available.

Important: Graduate Students with an Accounting Baccalaureate!

Regardless of your graduate degree, if your bachelor’s degree was in accounting, you should replace ACG 6305 with ACG 6309. If you are planning for the CPA exam, you should replace ISM 6021 with ACG 6405.
Don’t forget: that you must apply online to take Business Policy (MAN 6726) in advance of your last semester only.

    Computer Experience

A strong working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, and Power Point is mandatory for graduate business students. If you are not experienced in these areas, CGS 1100 at UNF is recommended in your first semester. The university also offers training programs through the skillsoft learning program. The link to these free programs can be found on the “home” tab of myWings under “Quick Links.”
