Summary:
This course provides students with a truly unique learning experience. Through preliminary work at UNF, travel to Scotland, and follow-up work at UNF, students will develop an understanding of the strategic issues facing the golfing industry in Scotland. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have learned about the history of golf; similarities and differences between the Scottish golfing industry and the U.S. golfing industry; the unique problems face by the Scottish golfing industry; and the associated catalysts for change. Students will also become familiar with Scottish culture and customs, from cuisine to behavior.
