When:
Travel occurs during spring break (Thursday, March 11 – Sunday, March 21, 2010). This course includes required meetings pre and post travel.
Note: Required predeparture and post-travel sessions are listed below. All participants are required to attend all of these sessions as part of the FIN 4956: Study Abroad in Egypt course.

Summary:
This course features e-discussions with students at the American University of Cairo. These on-line exchanges will be coordinated using Blackboard and other e-learning technologies. Via structured facilitation students will discuss cross-cultural issues and perceptions. In addition, the course will involve a study abroad experience in Egypt including an amazing 3 night cruise on the Nile each night in a different city. While in Egypt, students will have opportunities to explore Arab institutions and American corporations doing business in Middle East. During each visit students will meet with business leaders and have a chance to engage in discussions.

Cost:
$3,800 $2,800* (plus the cost of 3 hours UNF spring 2010 tuition)
1st Payment: $500 due by December 1, 2009
2nd Payment: $3,300 $2,300* due by February 1, 2010
* Eligible students may receive a $1,000 Transformational Learning Opportunity (TLO) scholarship awarded by the President's Office to lower the cost to $2,800.
