- Summary:
- This course will offer an overview and comparison of contemporary Czech and Austrian society. The focus will be on the business practices in both countries, with a particular emphasis on camparative management practices. Students will visit a number of business organizations and governmental institutions in and around the cultural and financial centers, Prague and Vienna, to learn about general management practices.
- Austria and the Czech Republic are considered the pearls of Central Europe and provide a unique opportunity to study the impact of communism v. capitalism on culture and business practices. Finally, a number of exciting cultural activities will enhance the students' educational experience in both countries.
