Summary:This 7-credit program allows students to study European business culture, management, and marketing, focusing on the realities do doing business in Europe. "Coggin In Paris" is a 4-week program at EBS-Paris in Paris, France. The program is structured into different modules: International Human Resource Management, European Management, and French Cultural Studies. All classes are taught by European faculty in English. Classes will be held four or five days a week. The class schedule during the four weeks may vary, possibly including a long weekend.
  
Dr. Lakshmi Goel is a professor in the Coggin College of Business and will be the UNF faculty liaison for Coggin in Paris. Dr. Goel has extensive international experience and has served as a Coggin In liaison in the past. She will meet with the students several times prior to departure to review etiquette, culture, and travel preparation. In May, Dr. Goel will also fly with the students to France and assist them with exploring Paris for their first few days.
Prerequisites:

MAN 3025: Administrative Management

    • International Human Resource Management: 3/4000 MAN elective - may be used in student's degree evaluation as MAN 4301: Human Resource Management
    • European Management: 3/4000 MAN elective
    • Business Culture in Paris (1-credit course)

    $3,100 (plus the cost of 7 hours UNF tuition)

    1st Payment: $500 due by December 5, 2013
    2nd Payment: $2,600 due by February 1, 2013

     

    Double Discount! If you are interested in pairing a Summer A & B program, you can earn more academic credit, stay abroad longer, and receive a discounted price for the second program (approximately $1,000 off)! There are two weeks in between Summer A and B, and all additional travel, insurance, and living expenses are the responsibility of the student. Ask your Coggin Study Abroad Advisor for more details.
