Rigorous
Degree Programs
We challenge our students in their courses
so that they are prepared upon graduation to be
successful business professionals, as evidenced by these
activities:
- the content, structure and design of our
curricula are regularly assessed by the faculty
- learning objectives have been specified
for all programs
- achievement of students vis-à-vis
the learning objectives is formally assessed
- varied teaching approaches are used by
the faculty, including lectures, case studies, simulations,
structured group discussions, quantitative exercises, oral
presentations,
internships,
and study
abroad opportunities
The rigor of the program has been confirmed
by our collective student performance on the Educational
Testing Service’s Major Field Test in Business, and
ETS’s
Major Field Test for the MBA. The average performance by
Coggin College BBA’s regularly exceeds the average
student performance of 80-90% of the other 500+ participating
schools. The
average performance by Coggin College MBA’s regularly
exceeds the vast majority of the other participating schools.
