have a cumulative 3.0 GPA for junior and senior students, and cumulative 3.5 for graduate students and pursue, at the junior, senior or graduate level, a degree in education, with preference given to students pursuing a teaching career in an urban school. An urban school is defined as a school with a high percentage of students on free or reduced lunch programs, a high mobility and absentee rate, a high percentage of minority and immigrant students and a high percentage of low socio-economic status students.
