Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida.
Reside in Florida for tuition purposes.
Earn a minimum UNF recalculated high school GPA of at least 2.5.
Live in Nassau, Duval, Baker, Clay or St. Johns counties, with first preference given to student(s) living in Nassau County and second preference given to student(s) living in Duval County.
Major in Special Education as a junior, senior or graduate student.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need as defined by the University's Office of Financial Aid, if student is an undergraduate.
Be selected by a committee approved by the Dean of the College of Education and Human Services.
Enroll full-time each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year for undergraduate students.
Enroll part-time each semester and earn a minimum of 9 credits by the end of each academic year for graduate students.
Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
File FAFSA form with the federal government each year, if student is an undergraduate.
Comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus.
Consent to release grades to the Division of lnstitutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the Donors.
Remain in good standing as a student.
Current recipients may apply for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding, and if all of the preceding requirements have been met.
Recipients will receive an award letter identifying the maximum number of semesters or credit hours eligible for scholarship or fellowship support.
