Katrina
Hall, PhD
Assistant Professor
Department of Childhood Education Katrina Willard Hall received her PhD in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in literacy from the University of Florida in 2004. She previously taught elementary school for more than 10 years, receiving her National Board Certification as an early childhood generalist in 2002. She currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in reading and language arts. Her research interests include emergent literacy, struggling readers, diversity in children's literature, literacy across content areas, and pre-service teacher learning.
