Dr. Kemppainen is the Director and Faculty Administrator at the University of North Florida's College of Education and Human Services, Office of Student Services.  He also acts as a faculty member for the college in teaching in the areas of Educational Psychological Foundations, Educational Sociological Foundations and General Education Preparation.  His main areas of research have been in the areas of adult education, motivation theory and deterrents.
