Dr. Van Nagel currently instructs in the areas of Behavior Management and Learning Strategies.  His courses include Behavior Change, Behavior Management, Dealing with Aggressive and Angry People and Classroom Management. His main areas of research have been in the area of Behavior Management, Competency Based Teacher Education, Classroom Management, and Mainstreaming Exceptional Children.  His current areas of interest include anger management, behavior management, classroom management, and learning strategies.   Dr. Van Nagel also publishes in the exceptional Children's Journal and the Council for Children with Behavior Disorders monographs.
