interest involves working with Deaf students who have additional

consults and conducts in-service training, lectures, and workshops for
in-service and pre-service teachers at universities and schools across the
nation. She has taught in California, Hawaii, and Arizona in a variety of
settings including resource rooms, non-public schools, private
institutions, universities, and specialized schools. In each of these
settings she has embraced multi-cultural diversity as well as reaching out
to students with additional needs in addition to deafness. Furthermore,
due to the wide-ranging nature of hearing loss, she has had experiences
