Educator Preparation Institute (EPI): ApplicationSteps for Individuals Interested in Applying to the EPIYour “To Do” Checklist Gather, complete, and submit documents listed. Each of these documents are part of your application. Make sure to keep copies for yourself.
1 Complete and submit the EPI Application Form (Versions: Word | PDF). 2 Complete and submit the Memorandum of Understanding (PDF). 3 Submit documentation of your highest earned degree (a copy of diploma is sufficient or an unofficial transcript indicating degree is acceptable). 4 Submit Temporary Teaching Certificate documentation for the area(s) you are pursuing through the EPI. Go to http://www.fldoe.org/edcert/public.asp look up yourself, and print out a copy of the results page for submission. Persons not planning on have a professional teaching certificate will need to arrange consultation with one of the EPI coordinators. 5 Pay program fee (fee payment options/schedule) (Fee Payment Form PDF). If accepted, your acceptance letter will be mailed to you within 4 business days after we receive your application. When you are notified, pick up your two-volume EPI text, University of North Florida: Educator Preparation Institute, at the College Book Rack on St. John’s Bluff Road South in Jacksonville.
