The Council is comprised
of 25 educational leaders responsible for enhancing the College’s relationships
with the larger community. They are also charged with developing financial
resources to support the College’s initiatives, as well as serving in an
advisory capacity to the Dean. The DEAC is a vibrant, proactive, and engaged
body. The members have developed effective working committees, engaged in a
member self-assessment, initiated a formalized recruitment process, and are in
the midst of a strategic planning process. As key bridge builders between the
COEHS and the community, DEAC members will play an important role in the new
Center.
