FSRI Aerospace Education Mentoring Program

Our portion of the FSRI Aerospace Education Mentoring Program is a sub-contract with UNF to support a regional aerospace mentor funded through the Florida Space Research Institute.  The mentor, Mr. Robert “Bo” Smith,  plans, implements, and evaluates professional development activities with K-12 teachers in support of the Florida Aerospace Workforce Pilot Project.  He provides mentoring, modeling, coaching, professional development and technical assistance to improve classroom instruction in mathematics, science and technology education for teachers in NE Florida and he works with other FL aerospace mentors.
