The Faculty Contacts Program for Sociology and Anthropology Majors

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology faculty contacts program allows students to interact closely with members of the faculty. All majors have been assigned to a faculty member in their discipline. Your faculty contact can consult with you about your major, career possibilities in the field, applying to graduate or professional schools, or answer any questions you might have about your studies.

Your faculty contact does not replace your academic advisor. For information about programs of study and requirements for graduation, students should still contact the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Office. For convenience, students in each major have been assigned a faculty advisor by last name. Simply find where your name fits in the left hand column, and you will see your faculty advisor on the right. Call or email your faculty advisor to set up an appointment, or visit during his or her designated office hours. Faculty email and phone numbers are posted on the faculty web page.
