International Sociology Honor Society

 

AKD is the International Sociology Honor Society and was established in 1920 by Dr. Emory S. Bogardus at the University of Southern California. The society seeks to increase student scholarship and to foster interaction between faculty and students. 

 

Who is eligible to join AKD?

Students interested in becoming a member of AKD must meet the following requirements and submit an application form, along with their transcripts and the one-time initiation fee of $40, to their university chapter.
