PSYCHOLOGY MINORS
Conditions for Minors
- Psychology majors are not accepted into either the General Psychology minor or the Behavioral Medicine minor.
- Students minoring in psychology or behavioral medicine must complete Introduction to Psychology .
- No more than 50% of the courses required for the minor may be transferred in from another institution .
- No more than 3 semester hours of lower-level credit may be used to fulfill the minor requirements .
- A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor including the prerequisite course.
Prerequisites (3 Semester Hours)
PSY 2012 Introduction to Psychology (3 hours)
Minor Requirements (15 Semester Hours)
Select one course from the following:
- CLP 4143 Psychology of Abnormal Behavior (3 hours)
- DEP 3054 Lifespan Development (3 hours)
- PPE 4003 Theories of Personality (3 hours)
- SOP 3004 Social Psychology (3 hours)
Select one course from the following:
- EXP 3412 Learning Theory (3 hours)
- PSB 3002 Psychobiology (3 hours)
- PSY 3214 Research Methods in Psychology (3 hours)
- PSY 4604 History of Psychology (3 hours)
Select three additional psychology courses (3000-4000 level)
BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE MINOR
