Physics faculty are actively involved in their research. Many of the faculty secured external or internal sources of funding that allow them to hire students to do research. Please do not hesitate to contact individual faculty and ask them about research opportunities in their laboratories.
The Department of Physics offers a scholarship for each Fall term endowed by Carolyn and Kenneth Shacter to support students pursuing a degree in Physics. Candidate students should meet the following minimum qualifications:

The Department of Physics is offering several full and partial tuition scholarships endowed by the Hercules Foundation. Scholarships plus some book allowances are available in each discipline for declared academic majors in physics who plan to pursue industrial, governmental, and academic employment or graduate school in these disciplines following graduation. Candidate students should meet the following minimum qualifications:

The Department of Physics is pleased to announce the launch of the Teaching Apprenticeship Program, a new opportunity for our students to obtain real-world experience in the teaching environment. Students who secure an apprenticeship are awarded $1,000.00 per semester.
