North Florida Music Camp

Camp for 8th - 12th graders.

Each of the camps will feature small group study, large and small ensembles, master classes, and performances under the direction of University of North Florida faculty and guests.

The Prelude Camp is for rhythm section (piano, bass, guitar, and drums) and drumline. The focal points of the rhythm section camp camp will be technique, comping, feel, and cohesiveness.

The drum line mini-camp will emphasize marching techniques, warm-up and technical exercises, and memorization. June 20 - 21

The world famous JazzCamp emphasizes jazz ensembles (big band), improvisation, master classes, and evening concerts. June 22 - 26

The Interlude Camp is for Brass and Saxophones. Small groups and ensembles as well as one-on-one direction will be the features of this camp. There will also be emphasis will be tone production, intonation, technique, and chamber music. June 27- 28

Concert Band and String Camp features band, sting ensemble, music theory, master classe, and evening concerts. June 29 - July 3

The Encore Camp is for woodwinds and will give players an experience like no other. Master classes and direction from the top players in the Southeast will give woodwind players the opportunity to study and learn at the college and professional levels. July 4-5

$250.00 for room, meals, and tuition or $175.00 for tuition and meals only. Tuition includes a camp t-shirt. A $100.00 deposit is required to hold your spot in camp. The balance must be paid in full by June 1.
